Public Meeting: Abuse-Deterrent (AD) Formulation

The Food and Drug Administration will hold a public meeting to discuss the development, assessment and regulation of abuse-deterrent formulations of opioid medications on October 30 and 31, 2014 from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and 8:30 am - 3:00 pm respectively at the Sheraton Hotel in Silver Spring, MD The meeting will focus on scientific and technical issues related to development and in vitro assesement of these products. Registration closes on October 14, 2014, for those wishing to provide verbal comments and October 24, 2014 for those wishing to attend the meeting as observers. Written comments are due no later than January 9, 2015.
